Dr. Maryoung was born and raised in Southern California. She attended the University of California Los Angeles to obtain her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Maryoung then completed her optometry degree at Berkeley School of Optometry. She has trained at John Muir Hospital, Central California Healthcare Center Veterans Affairs, Travis Air Force Base, West Oakland Community Clinic, and Veterans Affairs Los Angeles Ambulatory Care Center. Dr. Maryoung completed her residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs. She is board certified to manage and treat ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Maryoung always strives to provide patients with comprehensive and excellent eye care.
